Acquire the skills needed to identify and flag wetland boundaries using the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wetland Delineation Manual and the 2008 Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plain and Eastern Mountains and Piedmont Regional Supplements (Regional Supplements), an excellent, more refined delineation methodology. Participants will learn how to identify wetland vegetation, hydric soils, and wetland hydrology in several different wetland systems, such as head-water streams, riverine, marshes, depressions, seeps, flats, and prepare a proper report for USACE approval.
