As delegates prepare for Ramsar COP13 they may benefit from reading the messages in the 2 page Changshu Declaration. It is presented in Chinese and English, and includes a statement in support of better management of urban wetlands, as connected to the theme of the COP. How much do we really know about urban wetlands, and do we consider them enough in our research priorities?
