Does the SWS have any published policy statements or white papers on sea level rise adaptation? A regionally-significant estuarine restoration project in San Diego, CA (ReWild Mission Bay) is in jeopardy of being seriously compromised by more development-focused designs proposed for a large portion of the planning area, and I/we (the San Diego Audubon Society and ReWild Mission Bay Wetland Working Group) want to convince the local policymakers that accommodating more space for wetlands is a better course of action than placing infrastructure in the path of rising waters. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Appelbaum
